How does this rating thing work? how do i know how many points to give or not give etc?

Give as many as you feel is fair. Simple, that's how it works!

Award positive actions and if it's not worthy of points, then just don't give any. If you like a Q or an A just give it points. It's that simple.

Well everyone uses them differently. The way I do it is if I like a question or an answer I give them points, If I don't like a question or answer I ignore it. I give points to anyone who answers one of my questions. I only give negative points to questions or answers that are totally abusive, most of the time I just ignore them.

well just think you are a teacher and you will award who answers well enuff, if u arent pleased u may de-rate as well..its all upto you happy rating:)
