Attendance award in Grade 9. Actually, that was kind of embarrassing to get.

I don't think awards are good enough to keep...a molded piece of plastic (not even metal!) a piece of paper, a pat on the back. The best is probably the honor of having someone as your friend.

It's definitely not the highest award I ever got, but way back in junior high school, I entered an art contest. I was the only entrant in my particular category...I won second! At the time, I thought I would die of embarassment. Now, it makes a great story.

I skipped fourth grade and got a Certificate stating so, which I made sure was prominently displayed for many years.

The highest award is probably graduating first in my class this summer but the honor I am most proud of is having my own section in my high school art show. We had over 250 entries and some the people in my school are very talented artists. Only 5 people got to have their own section and it is quite an honor.

I got a sticker once for going to the doctor.

I got a good citizenship award a long time ago in eighth grade...Nothing since. Boy, I have a boring life...

Maltese Silver Cross ... for risking my own life to rescue the life of another soldier after an accident during a war games exercise.

I recieved best Violin Soloist in my county. I thought that was pretty special!

I got sent on a 3 day trip to a Top Achievers Conference for one of our vendors and got a certificate and wood box (it's beautiful!) with a plaque saying I was tops. That was a great trip, I love San Antonio!

Got a plaque and some small gifts for 25 years service working with special needs kids and adults and a plaque for 25 yrs. service with Special Olympics.

National English Merit Award in my senior year of high school. Only myself and one other person received it.

I auditioned and was selected to be the Cantor (songleader) at St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican on November 1st, 1993. I got to meet and talk with Pope John Paul II and Monsiegnor Pablo Colino, who was the music director at the Vatican. I also did several solo performances during that concert tour through Rome and Assisi, Italy. Next to having my son, and marrying my (second and last!) husband, that was probably the best moment of my life.

back when i was in fourth grade i led my team of four other students to winning the math science and technology Olympiad within the school district. i was so happy!!!

I won USA Rookie of the Year for a worldwide pharmaceutical distributor and fortune 500 company.

World Wrestling Heavyweight Champion*. I won it in 2002. Nothing has made me feel as good as that *Greatest Student Wrestler in the World

When I was a 10th grader, lived in the projects, and went out for basketball and made All-Conference as a sophomore. That was special. Later made All-State and played Southeastern Conference basketball for 4 years. Worked a for major ins. company for 25 years and retired at age 57. But, the 10th grade honor, was huge at that point in my life because of my poor circumstances. Being poor and from an uneducated family, that was huge in my life.

The most recent was a purchase award from an art gallery.They bought a painting I did for their permanent collection.

I'm far too modest to boast but I will let you know that it was pretty magnificent. (Well actually, since you all obviously really want to know, it was a certificate given to me by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals for an essay I wrote about a kitten that was lost and taken in by a nice family and fed. I was 11. I left out the bit about the kitten growing up into an evil black tomcat whose worst misdemeanour was spraying on the Christmas tree, scarring me for life, because now whenever I think of Christmas I also think of cat piss.)

The highest honor I have received is the honor of serving my country, and now my community.

I received a Master of Business in Economics from Yale about 10 years ago. I saw the mess this economy is in now, way back then, but no one listened to me and the immigrants continue to pour into this country. Until the door is shut, and it will still take 2-4 years after such action for this economy to thrive, the economy in the United States will struggle mightily to keep 1/5(rising to 1/4 by 2012) of their population out of the 'unemployed' column.

CHEMICALLY TREAT ALUMINUM AIRPLANE EXPERIMENTAL PARTS. 3. FOR PRIMING AND PAINTING EXPERIMENTAL PARTS AND ASSEMBLIES AND LITERLY TAKEN OUT THE A AIRFIELD WHERE HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE WERE TO ACCEPT A FLYBY BE THE SST, B17 AND THE STEALTH FIGHTER FOR WORKING ON EACH BY GENERAL VIC CANTREL. I EVEN WEAR THE BOEING JACKET THEY PRESENTED TO ME ON MY AWARD DAY. ONE OF A KIND.
