It depends on the specific issue? Both the workers and employers have rights, so it depends on whose rights are trying to be infringed upon.

At this point in my life, I lean toward the workers. I've seen too many companies screw over too many people. Workers are now considered a widget for the most part. To provide a constant growth of stock price, costs need to be cut, and people are the first thing to go. When you eliminate people, other people have to do thier work. This is creating a very stressful and increasingly tense work environment.

Yes-I hate that version. too depressing. It was originally written by Jim Connel (another Irishman) to the tune of 'the white cockade' which is upbeat and happy. Apparently he was mad when they changed it. Have you heard it in the original?

Both. It takes both to make it all work and there is always a compromise that can be reached.

It takes both sides to keep a company running and it would depend on what the dispute was about.

it depends. in general employers are to be favoured because they are weaker. However unions are sometimes faking to protect the workers and playing political games. It is possible and necessary to have a mutually beneficial relationship between workers and employers.
