  • I'm not sure I truly regret anything that I have done, at least I tried, I regret many things that I have never done, including not asking someone to marry me when I had the chance :-( Long story, and not for here, but it gives you the idea.
  • Many of us in Texas and Arizona truly regret being suckered into attending a dead and lifeless MatchBox Convention called Route 66 MCCH International Gathering of Friends in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After arriving and hearing that only MatchBox collectors wee welcome and all HotWheels Collecotrs should not come back, we were amazed at absolutely zero room to room trading. We wrote a complaint to the producers Jim Gallegos and Mark Curtis, it said, All of us who attended, and I brought 9 other people with me, were very disappointed in the extremely low attendance at the Gathering. We were the ONLY people in the entire Hotel who were there for room to room trading. It is only by a "huge stretch of the imagination" that anyone could come up with an outrageous number like 800 people in attendance last summer. For the entire stay we only ran into another "conventioneer" at one function only, the dinner, consisting of fried peppers and beans. During the entire 3 days we were there, only 2 doors were open for room to room trading and these rooms were registered to guests I brought with me, HotWheels people. This fact cannot be glossed over. The co-producer of the event made it publicly known that anyone other than MatchBox Collectors were not welcome at the Route 66 MCCH International Gathering of Friends in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The other guests in the Hotel cannot be counted as convention attendees. Now, if you are a MatchBox Collector and you live in Albuquerque I suggest you checkout the Toy Fair on Sunday, but only on Sunday since it's the only day you will see anybody. Tim Gallegos, I am still owed for what I created for last years MatchBox Convention. If someone is thinking of attending a Convention this Summer, they should consider the Rhode Isalnd Summer Smash or save your money and vacation time for the 40th Anniversary of HotWheels in October in California. Save your self the embarrassment of struggling to convince people here that more than 125 people attended this little event. It's unfair and unjust to coerce honest people into spending their time and money to show up at the "Gathering" only to find it is MatchBox only and simply far too small to warrant the expense of travel. The Route66 International Gathering of Friends is a hoax designed to take people's money. Of the 9 of us who attended none are returning.
  • My high school sweetheart told me that I should take her to homecoming my freshman year of college. Instead of having the moral fortitude (and cajones) to talk to her and tell her that I was in a committed relationship with someone else, I concluded the quarter of the homecoming game in which the returning cheerleaders were leading by waving at her and walking off the field. I still feel awful all these years later.
  • No, because then I'll regret it twice.
