  • The one that “follows the Christ” in its teachings and actions. The one that has already, as a unified worldwide organization begun fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah in Chapter 2 vs 2-4 “ And it must occur in the final part of the days [that] the mountain of the house of Jehovah will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, and it will certainly be lifted up above the hills; and to it all the nations must stream. And many peoples will certainly go and say: “Come, YOU people, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will instruct us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths’ And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.” The ones who are “the mild tempered ones”, who will inherit the earth. The peaceable ones, that will be called “sons of God”. The one that has so many of its adherents sitting in prison cells throughout the earth, because they follow the Christ and refuse to take up arms. Just two examples of this: In the Republic of Korea, conscientious objectors had no choice but to be imprisoned as criminals rather than to bear arms. Overall, there have been 12,000 others who have endured being penalized as criminals for their conscientious stand. At present, 803 Jehovah's Witnesses are in prison and 90 are on trial. See link: http://www.jw-media.org/newsroom/index.htm?content=/region/asia_pacific/south_korea/english/releases/conscientious_obj/kor_e071004.htm And in Armenia, there are 73 Jehovah's Witnesses currently serving prison sentences for refusing military service on grounds of religious conscience. Armenia has violated its commitment to the Council of Europe to bring in a fully civilian alternative to military service. It has also been criticised by the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). These are just two examples of peaceable ones who follow the Christ and are “no part of this world”.
  • Why, the Church Of The Flying Spaghetti Monster, of course! Never, ever, ever has there been a war fought in the name of his Noodely Appendage, nor have I seen reports of my Pastarafarian Brothers and Sisters ever harming anyone, or molesting and raping anyone, or anything like that at all. And there's not any violence ever preached, or anything negative, really.
  • The religion that adders to this scripture: John 15:13 (King James Version) "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." And the one that actually did it, was Jesus Christ, against His rules, there is no law written.
  • Pure religion, as the Holy Bible calls it. "Pure religion undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." -James 1:27 -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!
  • Rastafarian's. You feel no desire to fight when you are communing with God through mother nature.
  • Well, buddhists have a long history of being pretty darn peaceful. Zoroastrians too - they don't even proseletyze - even though their numbers are dwindling quickly these days...
  • I don't know in detail but I heard the Ba'hai faith was quite peaceful. The one person that I met who was Ba'hai was very mellow. http://www.bahai.us/

  • The Amish. They live in a world of their own, and they do not impose their beliefs into anyone.
  • Jainism, Quakerism.
  • Most religions claim to be peacefull, and at the foundations of their relgions, they actually are ... but far too many religions leave that small open space for extremists to twist and abuse their religion into what they feel is a set of valid reasons for violence. This is most visible with extreme Muslims who twist the peacefull teachings of Islam untill they believe they must kill all non-Muslims. Not long ago, the Catholic & Protestant battles in Ireland similarly twisted Christianity from a peacefull religion into bloody violence. There are many more such examples throughout history, of wars being fought over which peacefull religion was better. Of all of the various religions that I have studied, I feel Buddhism is at least among the most peacefull, and the softly tempered branch of Tao Zen Buddhism to be the most peacefull. At least it has very few records of violence in its history, and in many cases Buddhist monks just stood their ground peacefully and allowed themselves to be slaughted, while they prayed for the enlightenment of their attackers. While it is true that much of the realm of martial arts has Taoist and / or Budhhist foundations, in their essence, they were only developped as a way to be able to survive attacks and to destroy violence by destroying an attacker's ability to continue attacking ... martial arts based on Taoist and / or Buddhist principles do not kill, ever ... all martial arts killing methods were added to the arts by non-Taoist or non-Buddhist soldiers who, like other religions, took and twisted to suit their own violent goals.
