I would start with fuel pressure and base timing. i'm pretty sure you still have the hdi ignition system on that car, in which it still has a distributor but timing curves and advance are computer controlled. however you must still set the base timing, the computer needs a starting or reference point. I would then check fuel pressure at the fuel rail(again i am assuming that vintage of camaro is fuel injected). if pressure and volume check out ok then i would have a shop check the injector spray patterns. hope something helps
