  • My dad did that once, I think.
  • I once narrowly avoided a head-on collision when I was driving the right way along a one-way road.
  • Working Graveyard shift (11p-7am) while on patrol in downtown Los Angeles, I was very very tired, and ended up turning down a street, and onto a freeway the WRONG WAY! It took several minutes for me to make the connection, and in a panic I skidded all over the freeway blasting my lights and siren, trying to get out of the way of on coming cars!
  • I remember one day when I was in my car, EVERYONE was! LOL :-)
  • Lot's of times. Almost daily someone is a good 2 feet into my lane coming head on. You mention an old lady. I generally find it is soccer moms and others on cell phones.
  • sure... i have done it myself, this last may on the fifth i was pulled over and given a ticket for passing 2 semi trucks with a cop between them... it was a one lane highway with dotted line so i traveled in the wrong direction for that lane of travel to pass so i could see the road ahead of me without vision being blocked by the semi trucks... the officer did not agree that what i did was the right choice since i got a ticket for speeding
  • Yes.I have seen that many times. My mother also has done that.Once i was shocked seeing someone driving the wrong way,as he was driving on a usually busy and narrow street with 120km/h.(well that was at 5:30 in the morning but if just one car came from the normal side of the road, both would be dead)
  • I have seen this a couple of times.
