  • Society provides many ways to conform, so I doubt any of us are truly "non-conformists." However, we are free to choose which social mold we will conform to. Don't you think?

  • Yes. It's called insanity. If you do not conform but are your own diverse and individual person, cooperating and living life peaceably, you are considered insane, a malcontent, loonie, a deviant, sick, mentally disturbed. Think about it. Any of those tags could be placed upon each of us. What we do and what is accepted today could have got us hung or imprisoned a mere 300 years ago. We are all a product of OUR society. On that note, gotta go...defending a guy on a drug (minor possession)charge in the a.m. Imagine, 90 years ago cocaine was not banned and in fact was promoted by one of the biggest corporate structures that exists in our society today. I'll bet you bought a product of theirs within the last 48 hours.
