  • No. I don't think there's nothing wrong with doing that.
  • No. I hardly ever pay attention to the category, anyway, unless the question needs clarification. But seeing it in "Recategorize me" wouldn't make me hold back points, not if I like the question.
  • Why should it? Just because someone doesn't know where to put it doesn't mean anything about the quality of the question. I often don't even realize where it comes from when I find it and think it's something I might be interested in answering.
  • It depends on the question. Some questions are real hard to categorise and if that was the case then no I would not refrain from giving points. However some are very easy to categorise and as such I would refrain from giving points. For example... "Who is the best rapper?" Easy to categorise, but other questions are far harder to categorise (cant think of an example now, sorry).
  • Lol, no silly goose.
  • No. a good question is a good question. Reward it as such. Categories can be confusing sometimes, or the bagger might have just "fat fingered" a key.
  • y'know, I hardly ever even look at the category unless the question's REALLY weird or confusing!
  • no, a question's category has little to no effect on my decision to award it points.
