MSN, because when I clicked "Internet Explorer" on my first computer with Internet Explorer III back in 1998 it was already there as default. My wife immediately asked me to see QVC, so I went there in a snap.

MSN. It was pretty well the first real online "internet" experience beyond the old BBS system that I dialed into using my 300 baud modem. AOl came quite soon after but there was little to no compatibility between the two online services. You had one...or the other. No one was independantly hosting at the time other than a few visionaries and they started with BBS too.As far as the first website, that would be what is now known as MSN Communities. As former Canadian Navy, I figured I'd fit in. Turns out, that with our population base, I was awash in a sea of Americans. Their first "token" Canuck that eventually took the name of a global armed forces community on the net when MSN decided to open up naming conventions on their network beyond what was set in stone.

Knowpost.com - I had been surfing on a friend's computer and thought that was the coolest place ever. Cool enough that I bought my own computer, got internet service (slow as crap dial-up back then!) and been surfing every since. Knowpost has long since gone the way of many other internet sites and alas, it is no more.
