I had squid, I love it. How does a bear taste like?
Bear is kind of greasy - like duck - oh I've had Venison too (deer) and Elk
I've never had Bear or Eel but I've had all the rest.

It was pretty good. A lot like venison. Not as good as the ostrich, which was by far my favorite. And I'm not sure why Springbok reminds you of Bambi more than say, deer...
Eltinwe.. u sure had made us imagine some of those food. I still have a fear of eating anything grubby.lol
Eh, it's not really that bad. I sort of wish I had gotten over it and really eaten a bunch.

In asian countries, grilled bat is good for asthma. I know that my cousin had tons of bat and he no longer has asthma. But i would not advise to others cause I am not an expert.

Lol I think you should win all the points for eating spiders!
What did you think of the Balut? I've eaten one a few months ago in the Philippines. It was a young one, not ready fullgrown with feathery bits. I thought it wasn't that awful except for the crunchy eggwhite in it. Somehow I thought that was the horror part. :) Answer 7 out of 20 by Bruja. on Oct 9, 2007 at 5:39 pm Permalink

Dog? Can u see dog the same way again?
well, I only took one bite, and my cultural background set in and I couldn't go on. However, I have to admit it tasted ok. If I hadn't asked what it was beforehand, I probably would have eaten all of it.
Thats interesting.

You really love eating...by the way, what is squab and a grouse?
A squab is a large young pigeon. We used to raise them for food but it really wasn't economical for the amount of food you get. But they were very tasty, more what you would expect at a fancy restaurant. And a grouse is a game bird, sort of between the size of a really big quail and a small pheasant.
thanks..I learn something new again today
