Walk it back inside and hand it back to her - it's not my money to keep.
-
Return it.

In the old days, I would have kept it as payback for all the times they ripped me off. But, for the last decade or so, most grocery stores will make your problem right, all you have to do is ask. So, I would walk it back in, also. And, some stores take shortages out of the cashiers pocket, so I wouldn't want that.
-
wipe my coolie with it?
-
Take it back to the cash desk.
-
I'd take it back in..I wouldn't want to get someone in trouble for a measly five bucks.
-
get lunch, or dinner
-
Take it back. It is not mine and the cashier could lose their job.
-
Give it back.I used to work with cash.I had it taken out of My check when I was short. So I wouldnt want it to happen to someone else.Am lucky though. In 4 years was only short 2 times.Still wouldnt want money that way.Is My opinion.Doesnt make it right or weong.Just Mine.

Take it back to the checker. They are responsible for their drawer coming out even. It could mean their job.
-
If I was broke, like i usually am it's mine. I'm not responsible for others foolish mistakes just like nobody is responsible for mine. I might return it, but I'll only go so far and I certainly won't wait in line to return 5 bucks.

I would assume I miscalculated the total and just keep it for another day I'd be short changed. It happened to me so many times when I think they have given me too much and then it turns out I miscounted how much change I was supposed to get. Like this one time there was this charming guy cashier. As I was walking out I looked at the change he gave me and at the time I thought it was too much. At first I wasn't sure whether he did it deliberately since he was so charming, bt then I thought imagine if it was a mistake he'd get into so much trouble because I distracted him... I came back and told him it was the wrong change, we went through the items I bought and it turned out that I confused the price of an item hence the change was right. I walked out rather red.

Take it back to the clerk, it's not my money.

Take it back. But that would normally never happen because I can't deal in cash anyways. Too messy with all the coins and counting.
