Why is it when you ask a question on AB, the people who answer NEVER really answer the question sometimes? They usually ask you a question or say something that isnt related to the question. Does that bug you or not?

no. in fact, i'm even thankful that they've bothered to answer my question, out of the gazillions of questions here (many of them still unanswered up to now) =)

Maybe they're asking you a question because they want to know a bit more before they answer? I never ask questions, so I'm not sure. Maybe they just want tthe points, too! (I hope I didn't just do what you said!) :D

Sometimes questions (not yours in particular) are very vague. More information is often needed to give an appropriate answer.

It bugs me, yes. But That is why I joined, so if I can provide the answer to someone, I will. I won't just say something at random or start a new subject. I like to help people on this site, not annoy the crap out of them. There's also some cases where people don't post the question with enough info. Like, "How to fix a car?" Well...fix what?
