Amazing. Not only classy, but a role model for us all.

To give her seat up for another living bieng was fairly classy I suppose.
-
Wow, says a lot about the solder that was actually okay with kicking a woman out of her seat. Good of her, selfish of him. A gentleman would have thanked her, and let her have the better seat, even if it meant him hanging onto the landing gear.

Please explain a couple of things. Was the guy an american soldier or from Myanmar? Was the lady iraqi, palestinian or from Darfur? If she didn't know what the soldier did in his military career i don't really see why it is a classy thing to do. The problem of america is exactly that people are respected if they wear a uniform or are part of governmental organisations and are not believed if they not part of criminal organisations which assasinate innocent civilians around the world. People should be respected in respect to their actions and not to what they wear, right?

vietnam guy is right, what happened in america after nam was a disgrace. the gi's were doing their job and all they got was abuse. i teach in a navel base where we get royal marines etc and i teach them for free somtimes. i like to think thats a lil repayment.
