How do I stop Windows Explorer from making icons or thumbnail images for my picture files? Can I configure my system so that Explorer only does this with files below a certain file size?

  I've got an email in my Outlook Express from a long time ago. I can't click on it, because the program then freezes and has to be closed. I cannot delete it, because when I right click it, it freezes and has to closed. Any idea how to delete this thing?

  I've been told that IEXPLORE.EXE should not be running as it's spyware that has attatched to my real Explorer. Explorer won't run properly now. But when I search it on my PC, it seems I have to delete the entire program to kill it. Anyone know about this?
