  • I normally try to keep the temperature at about 70 in my house. If anyone is getting a bit sick I will turn it up a couple more degrees. I also will turn it up if the weather makes me suspect the electricity will go out, so the house will be warm a bit longer. We have a wood burning stove, but the warmth doesn't circulate very well, so the bedrooms stay pretty cold when the electricity is out.

  • Well, my thermometer just tells me what the temperature is, so I can't keep it at anything. I would set the thermostat at 21° C (70°F) if I had a heating system.
