I normally try to keep the temperature at about 70 in my house. If anyone is getting a bit sick I will turn it up a couple more degrees. I also will turn it up if the weather makes me suspect the electricity will go out, so the house will be warm a bit longer. We have a wood burning stove, but the warmth doesn't circulate very well, so the bedrooms stay pretty cold when the electricity is out.

Well, my thermometer just tells me what the temperature is, so I can't keep it at anything. I would set the thermostat at 21° C (70°F) if I had a heating system.
