My mother collected enough over a few years to go to Paris. It was her first (and only so far) trip outside of the US. I think it was close to $400. She was traveling with a group from work and got a great deal on the flight and hotel room. I've personally had around $100, but I ended up putting it into my bank account. I prefer for my pennies to make a few more cents of interest each month. :)

I can not remember the exact amount, but it was a good £200. I think it was about £220. But that did take a couple of years to save.
