Is it unheard for a male to be a feminist. My social studies teacher changed the way I look at it now. He said, "When you look at your mother would you want her to be treated unfairly?" Thoughts?

No, I've met many males who are feminists. Just because a person has never been an astronaut doesn't mean they don't support the space program and understand the goals. If men were smart more of them would realize it's a useful thing to understand women. ;P

Modern feminism is a pro-misandry, female superiority movement, nothing at all to do with fairness and equality. That is why very few men identify themselves as feminists.
