Wicca is a modern religion designed to emulate some basic concepts from ancient native European faiths, such as Druids. Since we don't know all that much about what Druids really believed, a lot of it is conjecture. There are modern Druids as well- like Wicca they are a neo-pagan faith, but have their own rituals. One thing they all have in common is the belief that it is important to live in harmony with nature instead of living in conflict with it.

We have little understanding of ancient Druid practice. http://www.britannia.com/wonder/michell2.html There are Roman accounts of human sacrifice by Druids, although I wouldn't call it established fact by any means. Modern Druidry is an attempted reconstruction of ancient Druid practices, and is a Neopagan path. It is not synonymous with Wicca; however, they are both Earth-centered religions. Both are decentralized religions. Druids generally celebrate the Celtic holidays, as do Wiccans. Both Druids and Wiccans prefer to hold their worship outdoors. In fact, I've actually held circle with Druids on Mabon. Wicca and Druidry aren't identical, however. They are different paths. http://altreligion.about.com/library/faqs/bl_druid.htm http://altreligion.about.com/od/wicca/Wicca.htm
