Yes and no. Yes, I want to be in his position. No, I don't want to report to the people he reports to.
-
Hell no. My boss had too much on her plate already and they were always dumping more. I was happy being where I was at thanks.
-
Yes, actually. He's doing a really bad job imo and I think I could do much better. If he happens to go while I'm working there, I'd be happy to step in and take his place.
-
No i don't.
-
Not really. Some days, I'd like someone to take my place though. I am the boss! (I work for myself)

I would make a good boss but I would play by the rules and people might not like that. if anyone tried to suck up, they would either be fired or demoted. I would ONLY hire and promote people based on ability and willingness to work hard. I have so many bosses in my past who have hired /promoted/gave raises to people who were friends or whodid things like partied with them, etc. people who had NO experience prior to the job but they made them manager (wal mart) when other people who had worked there 20 years were told "you don't have enough experience." I would be the kind of boss that treated my employees fairly and listened to their suggestions/problems and tried to help make the business a success. most bosses don't care..they take advantage of their positions.

I've been the CEO of a few companies and it is a very lonely job and very taxing. You need to be confident, experienced, and have people skills. Juggling people with different personalities and qualities is very exhausting and sometimes the least rewarding.

In my department? Nope. I couldn't stand our marketers, I would kill one of them.
-
I hope so. I work for myself. Business is OK.
