I am quite confident that I am going to be the only unique answer: wireless trackball. I've only met one person who uses a trackball, and nobody enjoys using my computer because of it.

Logitech optical wheel-mouse. Not great, but ridiculously cheap and FAR better than an old mechanical mouse.

I have a wireless laser mouse. I hate trackballs, they mess up my thumb knuckle from rotating it a lot.
