It depends on the earth's tilt.
-
I put it back
-
When i used to shop i always put the cart back, but now i shop on line i havnt been to a supermarket in ages.
-
I not only put it in the bin, I get an abandoned one on the way in.
-
I put it back. We have just had our new car dented by a trolley, and I would not like to have that happen to someone else.
-
I put it in the cart bin. I don't want to see anyone's car or even my car for that matter with dings, etc. It is not nice to just leave them hanging around in the parking lot.
-
I used to be lazy and leave it out, or try to see how far i could push it..But now I place it in the bin
-
I always put it back, unless i'm really pissed then i aim it at my boyfriend.
-
I definitely put it in the cart bin, and sometimes even walk it back into the store. I will also grab abandoned carts and take them in or to bin. Another good idea is to notice if their area elderly people or people with small children going into the store. They are often happy to get a cart in the lot to help them get safely into the store!
-
I put it back.. unless it's storming!
-
I always return it.
-
I return the cart back where it belongs. I always see carts left out from people who are too lazy to return them. I think that we should adopt the policy that many places in Europe have, where to get a cart you insert a coin, and when you return the cart you get a coin back. It seems to work quite well.
-
I so seldom take more than a handbasket. I like to make numerous small trips. When the store near me was a Shop-Rite, they had this Quarter-Conenction thing, like you had to plug a chain into the cart to get your quarter back. For the lazy people that didn't do it, I would return the carts and get the quarters. The Stop & Shop doesn't have these anymore so I can't get quarters.
-
It depend how far i am, if im near the store i take it back, knda far i leave it, closer to home... ;)
-
I never return it. That creates job security for the guys who have to bring 'em in. I don't ever use the automated checkout either. Someday that will eliminate the cashiers' jobs. Why are cutting our own throats when it comes to keeping our people working?
-
Return them normally. And for the record, as a cashier, here are my pet peeves: Take your stuff OUT of the little red basket, don't just set the damn thing on the belt. Don't let your kid climb on the belt. They will DIE if they fall and crack their heads open. Don't put your money on the belt. Don't play 'keep away' with your money when I am trying to check you out. That fucking pisses me off. I will use a spoon to scoop out the eyes of the next person who does that to me. Don't get mad when I take your hangers. We RECYCLE them. They are the store's hangers, not yours. Don't leave your cart in line. Not really last and definitely NOT least: Have your items decided BEFORE you check out. Don't hold up the line for 230948234 minutes trying to figure out if you want this shirt or not. - Your about to go insane and eat your face cashier.
-
I'll usually try to return it to its proper place but if it's too far from the car or if the weather is treacherous I'll have to leave it in simple place where it won't bother parked cars.
-
I always take the cart back, unless I'm really tired and a Shopping Cart Depository is a lot closer than the store.
-
I take it back ...that was always my job when I was a kid when I went shopping with my mum and dad ...I guess its stuck with me all these years later
-
I usually return it. I am not much of a shopper and usually I'll try to carry everything so I don't use a cart that often.
-
I always return it.. when stores have like one trolley bay for a huge area it annoys the hell out of me though, particularly if its crappy weather, but i still don't leave them, because I'd hate for it to go flying and hit someone elses parked car. which has happened to me.
-
I have gotten into the habit of returning it along with anywhere from 3 to 5 others on the way back to the store.
-
My doctor has ordered me to walk as much as possible, so I always return it. I also park as far from the door as I can comfortably walk.
-
I usually take it to the drop off in the parking lot.
-
I take them back in or if they have a special rack for them, place them in there.
-
I always at least take it to the remote return rack. If that rack is full then I take it back to the main return area at the store itself.
-
My husband always returns it.
-
I take it to the cart return or back to the front of the store area.
-
I return to the cart corral, if that isn't possible i will secure it by kicking the front over the concrete curb stops. I never leave it in a middle of a parking space or next to some ones car if I can help it.
-
i return it.
-
I always - ALWAYS - park right next to the cart corral. It's like they save the spot for me. ^_^ So, when I turn down the 15 year old bag-boy's offer to help me out to my car (I'm SOOO glad my local grocery does that, by the way - pregnant woman LIFESAVER!), the cart goes right into the corral.
-
I usually push in whatever carts I walk past on my way into the store. When I am done, I either take the cart back or I put it in a cart corral.
-
if i can i leave the cart in the store, but i like putting it back to the corral b/c i would hope that someone would do that for me and not leave it for the wind to knock it into someones new car.
-
As a bachelor I rarely buy more than what fits in a couple armloads. If I am ever with someone who uses a cart, I wheel it to a corral. It is a form of cleaning up after yourself.
-
Corral it, of course.
-
If I can't carry out my groceries after bagged in my hands I use the cart. I always put the cart in the cart corral. I don't like my car to be run into by carts blowing across the parking lot so why would I want the cart I use to run into someone elses car? I lived in Canada for several years. I hardly ever saw Canadians not putting their carts in the corral for them. When you saw someone leaving a cart out in the parking lot it seemed to always be someone from the states doing so. For some reason Americans seem to not care or are just to lazy to take the 30 seconds to put the cart they used in the corral and that is in all states!
-
+ i always put in the corral
-
Well, little missy...I head on over to the corral and wait for the shootout...OK?
-
I either put it in the corral or put it up by the building, whichever is closer.
-
I mostly put it in the cart area, mostly.
-
You've hit on one of my pet peeves. I HATE it when people don't put their carts in the corral or back in the store. Not only do I put mine in the corral, but I make sure that it and all the ones in front of it are pushed together and as far forward as possible making room for other carts. +5
-
I put it in the corral. I'm not a dick.
-
where ever the other carts are
-
Corral, but if you dont here you loose money. You need to put a coin in it to use it. Of course you get the coin back when you're done.
-
I almost always return it.
-
I usually park right by the door
-
I will always put it back in the corral.
-
I go back and park it in its own parkingarea. +
-
I usually put take it to the corral. If there is another stray cart on my way, I might even grab it. Those poor guys freezing their cracks off don't need to be out in the cold for $6 an hour gathering carts because somebody was too freakin lazy to put their cart where it belongs.
-
I wheel it back into the corral. +5
-
I always put the cart away. I really don't like it when people don't put their cart away especially when they put it behind my Truck like they did the other night.
-
I put it in the cart corral
-
Yes ,I take it to the corrall always. Only a lazy ass would not.
