Very good question, for once today there is silence in my thoughts; I honestly don’t know what to answer, what is your opinion about this? I don’t recall that Noah's wife got mentioned that much in the story, so that can be an explanation, she was his wife, yes, credits for that, but wasn’t his sons playing a more vital role in the story?

I expect Noah and his wife were descendants of Adam and Eve...so it can still be traced back to them.

I give my Mom credit, even though I can be traced back further. I get that we all come from Adam and Eve, but according to the Bible we also all come from Noah and his wife, they would be our most recent common denominator, again, why don't we give Noah's wife a little more credit.

Remember that scientifically the flood that 'covered the earth' only occured in a region the size of texas. This means that it didn't completely wipe out human kind, it just greatly reduced the population in that area. This doesn't mean it wasn't signifacant, it just means that not everyone on the face of the earth drowned.

I don't know - it does seem like she'd be given a good kudos too, doesn't it? Though I guess his sons had wives and daughters had husbands already too, and they went too, so there was a bit bigger of a gene pool than just Noah and wife.

Credit for what?

I want to know what happened to all the other boat or ship owners of the time.. Did they just say, "Oh, god is mad so abandon ship!"?
