Put a egg on to boil and forgot about it for ages when i remembered it had boiled dry and was a brown colour started off white,i took it off the heat and it exploded and went everywhere i was cleaning bits of egg for days.

I nearly set the house ablaze when I put something in the microwave and it stuck into the paper plate and ignited. That was pretty scary, actually.

Kinda funny, I guess. I was walking thru the kitchen and sending a text message, My cat Rudy wanted food and got in my way causing me to stumble and drop my cell phone. It landed on the drain board of my sink, Crap that was close I thought. Then I went to grab it I bumped it right into the water. I had only had it for 8 days and it was ruined.

I once tried to boil water on the stove in a glass bowl - It was nearly boiling when the glass bowl exploded and boiling water flew everywhere!

I once got a job working in a kitchen. If you knew what a terrible a cook I am, you would find this hillarious.

If you'd like one of mine, I was basically using pancake batter in a frying pan. You can probably figure out the rest. Was not funny at the time.

You mean like the time I was reheating a chicken breast that had been stuffed under its skin. and it exploded and blew the microwave door open and shredded chicken everywhere...true story...i guess the skin sealed everything in.
