Do Jehovah's Witnesses have a say in how their donations will be used?

every congregation has several boxes, labeled according to what the donations should be used for. this gives us a choice as to where we want our donation to go.

- can you explain the point of your comment? even if these monies are used for what you stated, we are still given a choice as to where our donations should go. Jehovah's Witnesses are not ones to let our right hand know what the left is doing, we never publicize the charitable work we do in our communities, but that doesn't mean we are not involved in helping others.

In the matter of local expenses, such as will carpet be purchased, or will a payment be made towards the expenses of a travellong overseer, YES. In the matter of funds donated to the worldwide work, the distribution of funds put towards expense in other countries, this is left to a trustworthy committee.

- Yes, we do. We even have a say in how congregational money will be used before it is allocated, we can vote for or against an idea and we can ask questions before we vote we can make suggestions for other ways to spend the money. We are bever pressured to give money, we give from the heart with our free will, it is a privilege and an honor to be able to help in any way that we can. All support of God's will, financial or otherwise, is a privilege. We do not tithe. All of us are volunteers and are not paid. There are arrangements to care for the needs of full-time workers, but these amounts are so low that these individuals are dependant on the goodwill of others and their trust in God, Jehovah, to help them. no....all donations are sent to a regulated by the Watchtower, corporate headquarters....
