I am going there after work... I cannot deal with today... It's a hard one for me. =(

I didn't even remember it was 9/11 until I got of the 2/3 at Wall. And personally I'm happy about that. I sometimes think the constant reminders are unhealthy in terms of the healing process of the families of victims, the survivors, and this city as a whole. I can understand that this need to constantly honor and memorialize the victims comes from a place of love and respect, but, quite frankly, it sometimes seems like an uneccesary opening of wounds.

It's the same here in D-FW, too. Even tho' it's been a while, one glance at the t.v. reminds us how fortunate WE are, and what COWARDS others are.

yes and it breaks my heart every time.

I have had it on all day and it doesn't get any easier to deal with....or watch:(

I tend not to watch and rerun tragic events that have happened in the past.I do not watch TV.

While I pray for those who lost their loved ones and are still hurting from the loss and dealing with the horror of that day, I do not purposely watch the broadcasts or read the news about it. For me today is just another day (and I can thank my lucky stars for that!)

I've watched some CNN, but mostly the History Channel. They have more insider information and views. It's too sad to watch sometimes.

In a strange way, it is comforting that the day is not sunny and beautiful like it was in 2001.
