I don't think it's inborn. I think it has to do with repression and refusing to grow up.

God created a perfect world. Satan has corrupted it. He lead Adam astray, corrupting his seed - all his offspring (us). Sin and therefore all pain, suffering and death - are all caused by Satan. He brought them into this world and is alone responsible for them. Unfortunately, even many a preacher will blame God for evil - hurricanes, disease and all the evil that men do. That would never happen. Any Church that says that is blasphemous and you can rest assured that what they teach is far from the truth. The world we live in is not how it was designed and nothing evil could come from God. Soon, God is going to put an end to Satan's rule and restore the earth he designed - a perfect world. Jesus, the son of God, came to earth, proved faithful to his father, Jehovah (God), and sacrificed his life so that we can have a chance to live in that perfect world. He's also the one that will restore the earth (a lot of what that whole book of 'Revelations' is about). Much like Satan, Jesus and Adam, we have free will - to follow Satan's world and die with him, or seek out God and live on.

I get really tired of things being blamed on God. Man has a conscience he knows right from wrong and then he chooses. Unfortunately he doesn't always choose right.

* This was my YAHOO Answers to the question, "Why did God give me Muscular Dystrophy?" I think it applies here as well: Started to run from this question. I'll probably regret answering it and you'll never see my name here again. I changed my mind because it's a valid question and deserves an answer. Even a half baked one like mine. I used to wonder why I was created Black. And why a loving God would have some kids born to wealthy families and some to poor. Why some people were healthy and others born with infirmities. Why does God discriminate? What if the answer is, He didn't create your circumstances? What if YOU did? What if we're Eternal Beings who voluntarily pick certain conditions each lifetime to experience everything Life has to offer. (Just a THEORY, not meant to offend anyone so save your hate mail, please.) If true, it WOULD explain why there are so many seeming injustices in the world.
