Say you or someone you know was bullied so bad they ended up moving to a different school? Do you think this is ever a solution?

I think the only way to rid yourself of a bully is to stand up for yourself and show that you're not an "easy target" - the bully will just move on after that. Nice underpants btw!!

Sometimes, it is a wiser option to walk away and pick your own battles...yes. I don't know how bad the abuse was but it must have been pretty intolerable. The bully should be punished.

If its their personality there will always be bullies in some way, shape or form. What needs to be done is standing up to them, as BLT said they look for "easy" people so the personality needs to change to avoid bullies. Moving is a quick fix to the problem and it may work but if not a little more courage to stand up for ones self will fix it for sure. Whats with the underpants? lol Just noticed that.

Bullies cannot be reasoned with. The nature of their attitude does not allow room for reason. The best way to deal with bullies is to learn how to fight, lift weights, and/or simply carry yourself with confidence. Often, just looking like you can/will beat the sh*t out of someone who offends you is enough to ward off bullies.

This is NOT the right thing to do but when my daughter was being bullied in 2nd grade by a girl who just moved on the block, I called the girls mother & said listen our kids are too young to be fighting, why don't we handle this as adults & meet at the corner so we won't be breaking the "no weapons on school grounds property" rule. She declined & our daughters later became friends, but I still didn't like the woman.

i think it is not a good solution. the best thing to do is stand up to the bullies and show them that what they are saying about you really doesnt bother you. you have to show that you are strong or otherwise they will just continue to bother you.

I think some kids are bully magnets. Running to another school might work for awhile, but ultimately, that school's bully will find various ways to pick on that kid and the cycle will begin all over again. Kinda like battered women whose repeat marriages always end up with the same kind of jerk.

I did this. It worked. The private school that failed to keep me safe, lost my business. Now they want donations. Ha ha.
