  • I work offshore in the oil industry and am subject to random testing, I have made it my policy to avoid any possibility of passively smoking dope, it is worth remembering too that the smell of it on your clothes will alert a sniffer dog to indicate you at the airport etc.
  • He might. it depends on whether he has inhaled smoke while in the same room. That much exposure to 2nd hand smoke will show up in your system. It won't stay in there long because he is so skinny. For skinny people (or should I say people with very little body fat), it takes SMOKERS to clean their system in about 2 weeks. People exposed to the smoke but are not smoking it themselves, should be clean in a week or less.
  • A couple of studies have already been done on this, and the short answer is that he could sit in a car with the doors and windows shut and with four other guys constantly smoking marijuana, and he would not test positive for marijuana. This was one of the studies done on secondhand marijuana smoke. They also did a study inside a 10 by 12 foot room, wherein four nonsmokers played cards over a 3 hour period while six others smoked marijuana the entire time. The nonsmokers all tested negative for marijuana use at the end of that 3 hour period. http://www.norchemlab.com/reference/dtq/0103dtq03.htm (where do you sign up for this kind of medical testing??? :-D )
