  • Sneakers and Ronin. They were both in theaters when I was too young for rated R flicks--I found them and think they are awesome! :)
  • I saw My Cousin Vinnie on an in-flight movie and since I didn't hear any hype about it, thought is would just be a boring picture but it turned out to be quite amusing with Joe Pesci.
  • I saw a movie a while back in IFC, and thought it was good enough to seek it out and bought a DVD copy of it. The movie was called "Yesterday" and it is a foreign film in Zulu. It is about a Zulu woman who finds out she has contracted AIDS from her husband who has been working in the city most of the time in the mines. She has to go to the city to tell him he has AIDS as well from him screwing around. I won't tell the rest, but the film is one of the best I have ever seen and I am a movie junkie.
  • FUBAR, Nothing, Dead Alive, Triples of Belleville, Ice Storm, The Barbarian Invasions, The Conversation, M, Leon, The Tune, Alice (the version by Jan Svankmejer), Arsenic and Old Lace, Yojimbo, Harold and Maude, Pink Flamingos, Repo Man, Brazil, Evil Dead II, Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter, Fucking Amal (that's a Swedish title, it's not about what you think), I think all these movies are great, and I'm only listing them so people check 'em out. I know a few of you will know a few but I give them all my NEVERWAS SEAL OF APPROVAL
  • This is a great Q! Yes. In fact, funnily enough, it was just a movie from one of these art type low key, off-beat movie theatres, and to me, It is one of my all-time Top movies. It was made in Iran shortly before the Iraqi war: It's called: The Color of Paradise ... about a blind boy whose dad did not want to own him! It is probably the most moving film I have ever seen. The scenery is also brilliant.
