The drug war is about as useful to us as our enemy's nuclear bomb hurling towards us, their anthrax as it is dumped into our streets, or George W. Bush as our president. The only difference is that the drug war is more devastating with far reaching consequences and no one will ever get punished for it. If you want to do one great thing for humanity, it would be putting an end to the WOD. As a member of LEAP (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition) I don't think you can begin to comprehend how many lives we lose needlessly because the average person doesn't know how to use drugs properly. The solution is education; not incarceration. Drugs were meant to heal. That's what they do & why we use them. Our physicians are toy robots on a string; our pharmacologists don't know a damn thing. The only one you can trust is yourself and some of the chemists that are out there. Our most eminent scientists today consume drugs because they have discovered that psychostimulants increase mass in key areas of the brain and enable deeper thought, better memory, and a clearer comprehension. Drugs like Ritalin turbo-charge the brain and drive up intelligence. So why do we have a drug war? Because war is the only thing that the US knows how to do. And by the looks of the wars we fought since WWII, we don't even know that. At some point during the next few years, citizens of the US will find out what it's like to be a 3rd World Nation. In the end we will discover that the two greatest drawbacks in our society are: 1) Wars that perpetuate fear; 2) A government aristocracy that is hardly democratic. We will continue to lose every war that we start until someone decides that enough is enough and takes us out. We are quickly approaching that day.

Yes. It is a fantasy war. A perpetual money-making machine for the governments around the globe. My 2 cents.

All wars are.

It's a farce to begin with.
