  • No. According to my calculations, the formula for which the lungs to pressure ratio suffices, would cancel eachother out; thus, the collapse of the lungs, the assumed machine as well as the mad scientist who created it. Law suits for the MadMan and $$$ for the collapsed lung man.
  • I'm assuming no, because it would cause something to happen to the rest of your cells in the body. I want to say make them burst or shrink, at least something along those lines, kind of like what would happen if an Astronaut went outside the shuttle w/out their space suite.
  • I think its just a matter of how well the haemaglobin (and maybe other gas-fixating molecules) can 'hold' the O2 at a low pressure. Of course pressure would have to be dropped slowly. But there may be a problem with other human molecules that have low 'boiling' points.
