I am over 30 days late on a car payment with a used car dealership. The repo man showed up at my house while I was gone but will be back. Is there any way I can make arrangements to keep my car once he has been sent?

    Yes, You have several chioces.

    1. Call the lender, tell them what you can afford to send, and when you can send it. If you are honest, and work with the lender they will work with you and call off the repossessor.

2 File a bankruptcy. You are protected from being repossessed once you have filed the bankruptcy. This protection is only temporary, you will eventually have to pay the bank for the car under a reafirmation agreement, or give the bank back the car.

    3. Go into hiding in South America.
