Well, you know what they say - takes one to know one.

No. There's a difference in passing judgment on other people and observing/describing someone's behavior. For example, a witness testifying in a criminal trial describes the accused's actions. That's passive, more or less. "Your Honor" is the one who judges and he/she plays an active role.

yeah, you are. but sometimes you have to judge people for their own good. Trying to be completely perfect is one of the greatest mistake one can make.

Wow...good point..They probably are... I would +6 you but I can only +1, but this is really an ingenious thought.

If you are saying that THEY are judgemental then yes, you are in a sense judging them. However, if you are just providing some general advice..."you shouldn't be judgemental" then no, you aren't judging. The same as if I give you the advice of "don't play in traffic". I'm not saying that you frequently play on the freeway, merely giving you a peice of advice :)

Nice one! I suppose it is up to the individual as to what they are judgmental about. I suppose it is the person's morals that guide what they judge to be either positive or negative. The people who are often deemed as judgmental, however, often use it to justify doing cruel, hateful, and sometimes criminal activities. I say that they should not be bigoted (that is my thing), try to educate if their minds are open, and walk away if they are not. In my mind I judge them as a bigot, however, I do not act further than attempts to educate. I am very judgmental about bigotry and do not apologize for it.

If you're telling someone they should't be judgemental, you are not telling yourself. So who cares if you're judging them? :P

You're right.

Yes, I definitely believe so, & they're being hypocritical & contradictory.
