Oddly enough, I do. They eat all manner of bugs. besides which their webs are beautiful!
-
It depends on the situation, if their near the door or in an easy spot to grab them I'll try and save them, if it's 2am on the ceiling of my daughters room, I'm killing it and going back to bed.
-
I don't like squishing the spiders. They like to eat the nuisance bugs. My daughter (3) doesn't have any problems squishing them though. I catch alot of flack for that.
-
catch and release. i feel very sad to take their life.
-
I scream "SPIDER!!!" and delegate others to do as they wish with it.
-
I usually just let it be, unless it's in my bed or my partner tells me to kill it... And oh yeah, if it's a black widow or a brown recluse spider I would definitely kill it.
-
i kill them if i can catch them in time which isnt often. i usually jump onto the nearest furniture and squeal and scream and then if i'm wearing shoes i jump on it, and if not i get daddy to kill it, and if he wont then i jump down grab the nearest sturdiest thing to squish it with. but usually by then, its gone
-
i usually catch and release.
-
Neither. I just note that there is something with more than 4 legs in the room, and then calmly come back to it a couple hours later pretending like it's not there anymore. :P
-
I personally don't like to squish bugs - I always get other people to do it. It's their choice to catch and release or just kill. I usually squish, because it's more convenient. Yes, I'm a murder. : (
-
i put them under cups and wait for somebody to come and get them so they can be killed or released. doesn't really matter to me as long as they are out of my house.
-
I collect enough in a jar and leave them on the doorstep of my neighbor down the street. She is a witch and could probably use them in her spells.
-
As a professional exterminator I would lean toward not only killing them, but tracking down their brood and eliminating them altogether. On another note, just this morning I killed about 10,000 crickets at a company that makes bridesmaid's gowns. Some might think that's a load of bad luck, but as I see it, the bad luck would have been if a bridesmaid started dancing about at a wedding because of a cricket loose in her knickers. I love my job.

If its poisonous, then it is always squished. If not, then depending on where it is, it stays in or goes outside. (I dont mind the occasional one or 2 sitting quietly in a corner, but when they start taking over the kitchen table, television... well... thats pushing the friendship a little too far).
-
I will let a spider be unless it's very near my bed when I'm about to go to sleep, in which case I cup it and put it out of the window.
-
I used to run from them, but then it started pissing me off that a little thing like a spider was scaring me...so I start killing them!!
-
I dont like spiders. I put them outside if possible, if not, Im affraid they have to be squashed.
-
I use the following routine: 1. Scream like a woman. 2. Run into another room and shake uncontrollably for a few minutes. 3. Get someone else to kill it.
-
If it's a harmless spider, I leave it alone. If it's big, I would try to get it out of the house.
-
I usually put it outside in the garden.
-
Because I have so many spider scardie cats in my house they have to be squashed or they go nuts. And to think I'm the little woman protecting guys from a spider.
-
I squash spiders...I dont like them!!!
-
I am shocked that there is so little spider empathy on this board! Spiders are our friends! (1) They eat bugs, so you won't have spiders unless you have bugs. (2) They're an indication that you aren't spraying toxic chemicals all over the place.
