  • Have you tried talking with your friends, or a therapist, or even a community leader?
  • I would aproach her when she's not occupied with something else and explain that I had something important to talk to her about. Then I would tell her that I love her and appreciate that she's always there for you. Then tell her (don't use the word but because it negates everything said before it) that you think you're depressed, explain why you think you are, and then ask her opinion.
  • Talk to your doctor. If you are in school, talk to the school councilor. If your school does not have one, talk to the school nurse. If your school does not have one, talk to a favorite teacher.
  • I think you should really consider talking to your parents. You could tell them you are afraid they will feel responsible and see how they respond. They would want to know you are going through a hard time, and i am sure they would be concerned and want to help. You should also see your GP, to talk about the options for tackling this. Maybe a course of medication or psychotherapy might really help nip this in the bud. Please, don't leave it untreated or it could get worse. Good luck.
  • Your parents may be more understanding than you think. If you are depressed you should see a dr to find out if you are suffering from depression(sad and gloomey for no real reason....)or just a bout of mild depression (had a bad week at school, fighting with friends/parents, PMS). If it is depression and you need meds now is the time to get on them before it gets worse(cutting, thoughts of killing yourself), or just finding out it is normal day to day feelings and that your are normal might be a load off your mind and help your mood. I wish you well! Get some attention, your parents need to know what is going on with you!
  • You should probably talk to a counselor. They can help you with your depression and your relationships. Maybe you won't need to talk to your parents about it as much, if you have a counselor to talk to. And when you do talk to your parents about it, your counselor can help you know what to say.
  • Don't tell her show her by writing a journal about your depression then let her accidentally on purpose find it then she will ask you about it You can even write stuff about how your afraid to tell your parents because they will think it's their fault
