Sure, Hollywood has gotten the right idea that people like the fantasy of period movies brought to full brilliance due to all the graphic enhancements that modern cinematography is capable of bringing about. The trend is quite evident with All the 300, Troy, and the current Arthur of the Roman legion in England (King Arthur) type movies. It is an evident trend to me that the general public likes to watch distant period pieces and are becoming more enamored of this genre.
