Yes, my second grade teacher's house. She was so mean at school and out of school if you accidently stepped off "her sidewalk" on her grass, she could make you run. We were always afraid to see what she looked like on holloween.

Yes, there was a house where a bunch of bad things had happened and no matter how they remodeled it and how nice it looked with new owners, neither I or any other kid that I know of, would go near it back then.

There were a few. The ones with little old ladies who gave out apples or rice crispie treats.

There was a house that freaked all the kids out, but since it was my father's mother's house I couldn't get away with refusing to go there. The other kids would never trick or treat there even when she left all the lights on and had candy. Her house looked spooky and it was on the dead end of a dirt road.

Yes! Because it had "spooky" music coming from it; witches "cackling" in the background; pumpkins burning in the still of the night; sounds of people screaming etc. etc.! I decided their candy wasn't THAT necessary!
