Ten years is a long time to work anywhere. It is supposed to eb a good thing to change jobs every three to four years. Typically if you stay with the same company for a very long time you will not do as well as you would if you moved to better positions in different companies. Having said that, if you truly love your job and the place that you work and have great benefits and a great salary, then you don't need to move.

Do what makes you happy.

In 9 years I have changed jobs 13 times. In 2 places I stayed at the same company, but changed departments and positions. 11 different companies. One company I left and am in the process of going back to. I have the gypsy blood when it comes to moving around in jobs. I can't stand the same thing for 10 years when it comes to my job. I get bored easily.

I graduated from college in 1991. I had my firtst job till 1999. I quit that job and started my own company and I've been happy with that since then. I can't imagine ever changing now as long as the business survives.

That is a HUGE issue. I drive 98 miles a day back and forth to work. Over 115 if I decide to visit the grandchildren.
