What do you think about the idea of humans being here on earth, simply being a dream in a sense(almost like a reality in the sense that we percieve it how we want and do what we want, and yet its scientifically/spiritually a dream based on evidence)?

That could be true. We have no idea why we're here, so we should be open to all possibilities.

I think our senses so strongly influence our experience of reality, that its hard to imagine consciousness as anything other than being on earth, with people and gravity, air, and chewing gum etc.

Everything that we know as tangible and real is ultimately filtered through our senses and perception. Without our sense of sight and touch our computer keyboard would not exist in the same way it does now. I have often thought about the "waking dream" state and how it could be entirely possible.
