  • Dishonesty is simply making statements known by you to be false. Intellectual dishonesty is a term used for knowing the proof yet still holding an opposing opinion. Dishonesty - Me telling you that 3 + 4 = 8. Intellectual dishonesty - Me refusing to believe that 3 + 4 = 8 is wrong and still promoting it as correct. These examples are VERY crude, I know, but the principle is correct.
