What do you think would have happened in WWII if the Germans had not made the mistake of attacking Russia?

Those two countries couldn't, by their natures, have coexisted peacefully for too much longer, and I've heard that the imbalance in the USSR's favor was getting greater over time. . But if Germany had not attacked the USSR... they still didn't have the types of landing craft to invade Britain, or the navy to challenge the Royal Navy. The German invasion was "wargamed" after the war, and it was determined that the Germans couldn't have landed enough troops & equipment to win. . I have read several places that Hitler changed the bombing of England to cities when if he'd kept up the assault on the airfields for another month or two Britain might have been left almost defenseless from the air. But I don't know what good that would have done them... their subs were being sunk in droves by 1943, so they couldn't have starved Britain out. Hitler's huge mistake was declaring war on the US.

I believe if hitler did not back stab the russians. Europe would be speaking russo-german and hitler would have lived a long life... and by the way...i don't believe israel would exist today.
