It is here, that Adam will gather All 'Keys of Authority' & Pass them on to Christ in preparation for his personal reign upon the Earth.

Actually, when Christ returns to the earth to usher in the Millennium, he will set up two separate headquarters, from which he will work. One will be in Jerusalem and the other will be in Jackson County Missouri. From Jerusalem will come the word of God, and the Law will come forth from Independence, Missouri. and from these two Capitols Jesus will rule the World...whew4

According to LdS Eschatology Jesus will first appear privately to His elite: The current Living Prophet and other LdS Leaders who will be the rulers of The Kingdom of God during the Millenium. After this secret and private meeting He will then appear before the world in Jerusalem per the Biblical narrative. So, in LdS Theology just as there were two post resurrection appearing - one in Jerusalem and one in America (as documented in the Book of Mormon) so there will also be two Second Comings - one in Missouri and one in Israel.
