  • Depends... is it human paradise or animal paradise?
  • theres a paradise without steak?
  • It will in mine. how could you have paradise without prime rib?
  • eating meat in paradise is a nonissue.
  • Yes & hopefully it will be roast chicken. Mmmmm
  • If one considers that man did not eat meat until after the fall then I would tend to think that in Paradise (which is a reversal of the fall) man won't eat meat again.
  • in paradise, animals will b just as equal to animals.
  • None of the answers have quoted from scripture so I thought I'd plug the gap. This is from the Holy Qur'an. We're told that those in paradise will have whatever they desire. Perhaps they might have the power to will things, or maybe even experiences, into existence. HQ 52:17-22 say: "Lo! those who kept their duty dwell in gardens and delight, Happy because of what the Lord hath given them, and (because) their Lord hath warded off from them the torment of hell fire. (And it is said unto them): Eat and drink in health (as reward) for what ye used to do, Reclining on ranged couches. And We wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. And they who believe and whose seed follow them in faith, We cause their seed to join them (there), and We deprive them of naught of their (life's) work. Every man is a pledge for that which he hath earned. And We provide them with fruit and MEAT such as they desire." A word of caution though. The Prophet who received the scripture is reported to have said that the delights of paradise are such that no eye has seen, nor ear heard. This means their reality cannot be described. All descriptions are limited by the vocabulary and experiences of our earthly life.
  • There will be Cheeseburgers in Paradise, so sayth Jimmy Buffet.
  • Borasalama and Letsbelogical are the only ones who gave serious answers so far. I lean in logical's direction, but think that there is deeper reason to believe that we won't eat flesh in the paradise. Please note that this is not an article of faith or supposed statement of doctrine, just an observation. [This answer is for Bible believers and assumes faith in an earthly paradise to come.] Apparently, humans didn't start eating animals until after the Deluge. Genesis 3:1-5 and 9:1-6 indicate but don't prove this. It simply seems reasonable to infur such from what is said and not said. After the Flood, many things changed and Jehovah made many temporary concessions for fallen mankind, including regulated polygamy and slavery. Polygamy, allowed among the Israelites was abolished by Christ for his followers (Matthew 15). Slavery wasn't eliminated, but Paul's writings made it even more humane than the already liberal Hebrew system. Other writings indicated that it wouldn't exist in the new world. Back to the flesh issue. (I've avoided 'meat' simply because in King James English 'meat' often simply means 'food') Isaiah's prophecies speak of the now carnivorous lion, bear and wolf changing their habits. This may point to herbivorous (vegetarian) diets for all creatures, including man. On the other hand, they also speak (figuratively or literally or both we can't be quite certain)of a banquet of well oiled dishes, including marrow (a past delicacy in Israel and still so in some cultures). To sum up: Biblically, we can't make a certain statement, but it SEEMS that the weight of evidence inclines toward a fleshless diet in the paradise.
  • POaradise is Eden restored and as meat was not eaten in Eden I would suggest that we will be eternal vegetarians!
  • Can you define paradise? Do you mean heaven or just an idylic imaginary state of mind?
  • Probably roast bird of paradise
  • Yes - otherwise I'll dine in Hell
  • I'd say 'no'. After the millennium...it will be as it was. Since "meat" wasn't sanctioned until the flood....it strongly appears God never meant this to be. Just my opinion!
  • I don't think we will need to eat.
  • Of course meat will be eaten in Heaven, because vegetarianism is a SIN! 1 Timothy 4:1,3 "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; ... *commanding to abstain from meats*, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth."
  • I don't know if you have the need to eat in paradise. If you do, I suspect that meat will be eaten.
  • just worry about getting there. who care's what is on the menu.
  • Since the question is about paradise, then the answer is "yes". If the question was about heaven, then "no" for the simple reason that heaven is a spiritual place and you will not have a physical body to feed.
  • No. Everything will be made out of soy.
  • All sentient beings will enjoy equal bliss, hence there'll be no more killing for foods. Celestial vegetarian cuisines of exquisite flavours and tastes will be served.
  • Yet another reason heaven sucks.
