  • It depends on the church, but probably not. Christians tend to be very judgmental. The question is if they are in a devoted relationship and have a kid, why aren't they married. If they were at least engaged it would probably be better as far as the being viewed by others thing goes.
  • I don't think that anyone should be judged based solely on their situation. I think that regardless of the situation with the father or the pregnancy, if a woman who is having a baby wants to be in any church she should be welcomed with open arms.
  • The church of God will accept anyone and everyone who is willing to accept Christ as their savior and change their sinful ways. Asking if people will respect you however is a different question.
  • I am actually in this exact situation as we speak... the odd thing is before i was ever pregnant my boyfriend and i lived together and the band at church wouldnt let him play the drums for him just because of the fact that we live together and if he was in the band he would be looked up to by other members of the church and living with me and not being married is not just a mistake its a choice to live in sin. Now that i am pregnant they actually want me to be an official member of the church which i have mixed feelings about only because it seems like a contradiction to me but also i think the willingness of the church to accept you also is based on what your beliefs are for instance i am a non denomination christian i have a personal relationship with Jesus and the church is welcoming with open arms
  • There's bound to be a few thin lipped matrons who will talk behind your back. I'm sure most people will be happy for you. Some of the men might ask your fella if he's going to do the right thing. It's all stuff you can deal with. Get you're round belly over there.
  • a denomination may not ,but God will....and HE would hope you and the father unite for your child....HE would never turn HIS back on any of us but HE does want us to do right and in doing so, WE can draw closer to HIM...
