Do not go to exposure sites! Chances are it will scar your magic forever more, because these places lack ethics, and the kind of people that "teach" such sleights/effects are rarely any good at it themselves. A good place to start is with books. "Royal Road to Card Magic" By Jean Hugard and Frederick Braue is a must have for any budding card magician. If you want visual teaching as well, R. Paul Wilson (whom you may recognise from The Real Hustle) has done an amazing 5 DVD set going through almost every detail of the RRTCM (Royal Road to Card Magic). You won't be disappointed with it.
