  • Sure I have. I've seen people angry at having their freedom taken away "for their own good" (that what Communism does - it takes away your freedom "for your own good"). I've seen Liberals angry at Conservatives because Conservatives refuse to "follow the agenda" that Liberals have judged to be the right thing to do for everyone. (Personally, if Liberals want to do for themselves, I really don't give a rat's ass. But I draw the line when they want to dictate to everyone just because they're scared of something. If you're scared, go hide under a bed - but don't drag me under the bed with you.) Yes - when a person is forced to accept a narrative that he knows is wrong, it's enough to make that person angry.

Well said! And if the mask prevents the disease then why isn't yours enough? Why force others to wear them?

  • I don't get out much, and the people who help me are angels of God! The people at the hospital (about the only place I go) don't seem to be angry. I haven't encountered angry people at the store. But since you mentioned this I am curious how the pandemic has affected crime. We know people get cranky in the heat of summer, so don't expect it to get better for a while here. I think this goes back to what I always say, you pretty much see what you are looking for. And if you look for the good I think you will see more of it. But this also depends on the people you surround yourself with, and whether or not alcohol is involved. Some people can handle the alcohol and still be kind and have fun, others turn into assholes when they drink. And most crimes involve alcohol. But all things considered you can only control your own behavior not that of others. You can only remove yourself from problem people and work on your own happiness/anger issues. The important thing is that YOU ARE HAPPY.

  • There is anger and hatred in people generally speaking among each other and intolerant of differences. Some people in the world make their anger known in the news and on television. I shut myself off from anyone who shows anger for my own protection so as I won’t be mentally hurt. They have their own anger issues to deal with but some people’s anger is understandable if they have been wronged by someone or if they are angry towards someone who hurt a loved one. There are those who will take out their anger on the wrong people. I’ve noticed all of this for a long time well before the pandemic. Because of anger and hatred in people there is war among each other. I withdraw from people in general so as I am not a part of their problem.
