of course! i have a whole lot of them! my fave though, i walked into our chicken coop, and reached into one of the nests and grabbed an egg, but it wasnt an egg, it was a snakes head and i ran and got my sister and she got the rifle and as it was coming out of the coop, she aimed the gun and dad said dont put a bullet in my barn since the snakes head was right beside the barn, and wouldnt ya know my sis put a bullet in it's neck, and it stuck there. we brought the snake out and it looked a whole lot like the copperheads we have around here, and dad studied what was left of its neck and head and determined it was a chickensnake! it was over 7 ft long. and since i'm 5'0 and was 4'something at the time, it was huge to me! anyways yeah it scared the mess outa me

Yes! As a field guide and snake enthusiast in South Africa-I have plenty! However, my favourite is how I obtained both my corn snakes. Never intending on keeping exotics,my first "child" was a rescue. I rescued "Sam" (Original I know) from a drug dealer who had been completely irresponsible with him. He was lost in gardens, vehicles dropped off balconies and got stoned almost every day (and that's not with rocks!)He was in a bad way and a few scars are still a reminder of his stoner days, but I have had him for 5 years now and he is doing awesome! Everyone loves him! My second "child" (for who I still seek a name - any ideas?) Literally rocked up on my door step a few weeks ago - our neighbors came knocking on the door of our apartment on the THIRD floor, they had no idea that I keep Sam here as we are not actually allowed pets. They also didn't know that I am such a snake enthusiast. The kind hearted gentleman asked me if I had lost a snake...now anyone who keeps a snake should have an idea of what went through my mind...I immediately looked at Sam's tank only to see he was safely in it - with a big grin on his face. As I peered around the corner outside my door, there lay a beautiful snow corn in great condition - very small still, but very healthy. Where she came from - NO IDEA!!! I asked the neighbor if he knew where it came from and he too had no idea. He was only too happy that I was willing to remove the animal. I kept an eye on her for the first 48 hours. She drank, she ate and she slept. Alas, a trip to the pet shop for a new tank...and then there were TWO!!!;) Thanks;)
