• It's the DEATH TO AMERICA party! Their policy is more freeloaders for the working man to support.
    • Archie Bunker
Come to America! We'll give you free shit!
  • Every democratic industrialized country in the world, including the US, uses a capitalist system with limited socialism. Democratic Socialism is not a different system but may favor slightly more state sponsored services. All capitalist countries provide most services provided by corporations and privately owned companies. All capitalist countries also provide some services such as fire fighters, law enforcement, public schools, public libraries, construction and maintenance of public roads, highways, and bridges, etc. provided by the state which is socialism. Those are important services that cannot be available unless everybody pays into them whether they like them or not and whether they use the services or not. Some countries have included petroleum companies because the product comes from the earth and is a necessity for the people. The cost of healthcare insurance has become out of reach of a huge portion of the population so most countries (not the US) also provide that along with fire fighters and law enforcement because it is also a life or death necessity. Systems of pure capitalism or pure socialism have never existed in the US. The notion that allowing any socialism will be "death to America" is ridiculous because we have never had pure capitalism or a total lack of socialism. That rhetoric is, unfortunately, politically charged and motivated to sound patriotic. It is, however, ignorant and clueless but ubiquitous among some groups who don't seem to know any better.
  • It doesn't differ. It just sounds better for the sheeple so they can say that it's not really socialism.
  • not sure
  • The Democrats were hoping that you would NOT ask this question. Are you familiar with the adage "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance baffle them with bullish*t"? Democratic Socialism is the baffling bullish*t invented by the Democrats because something that does not exist cannot be defined.
    • Archie Bunker
It just sounds cooler than saying socialism. Or Marxism. Or communism.
  • Its when you have all the freedoms guaranteed under the Constitution and Bill of rights but things like universal healthcare, labor unions and higher taxes for the rich. 😏
  • It's the reason you can no longer get your hamburger in the drive-thru. All the help's sitting at home on liberally enhanced unemployment.
    • Beat Covid, Avoid Republicans
there are no more drive-thru's because teenagers can't afford health care so they pay for it out of pocket. Fast food jobs don't pay healthcare. That's why we need Obamacare. Hospital owners oppose healthcare because they made more money from ER visits.
