For an artist, models must be interesting. It is not always the same as attractive. For the media and the mode, models must often be attractive, but they should have other qualities, such as discipline and a good mood, and some acting qualities for commercials. Many models are just made by their manager. With good dispositions, a very good manager and luck, many people could be some kind of models if they really wanted.
